Head to British Columbia to take part in Pacific Link College’s two Intensive Academic Preparation programmes. One course is designed to develop basic academic reading skills and the ability to express thoughts and convey information in an academically appropriate written form.

Successful completion of the course will establish a high-intermediate level of English language fluency similar to an IELTS score of 5.5. The other course builds on the language proficiency successfully gained in the first. Students develop the ability to read and comprehend texts of moderate complexity, build on their knowledge of basic paragraph structure, grammar, and mechanics, and develop listening comprehension and speaking skills in both informal and academic situations.

Successful completion of the course will establish a lower advanced level of English language fluency similar to an IELTS score of 6.0.
